Cleveland is booming, and it has become a hotspot for all creative junkies. Stay tuned to check out inspiring Cleveland destinations to fuel your creative energy.
Take a trip to Cleveland Heights and visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, a non-collecting institution and the region’s only contemporary art museum. MOCA is not a one-stop, check-it-off-your-bucket-list destination. It introduces new exhibitions three times a year, offering fresh experiences for visitors each season.
MOCA is featuring its Do Ho Suh installation featuring recent work by internationally-renowned artist Do Ho Suh from September 25, 2015 – January 10, 2016. Walk through the installation’s weaving of “translucent structures made of monochrome polyester, at once architectural, and ephemeral, inviting viewers to wander through their dreamlike interior passageways” – all recreations of specific domestic spaces where he has lived.
Looking to be inspired on a budget? MOCA Cleveland is free to all on the first Saturday of each month. People of all ages can explore the museum, engage with exhibitions and participate in workshops or activities.
MOCA is a destination sure to fuel your creativity. For even more reasons to visit MOCA, check out its scheduled programs and events.
