Need to take 5 for some fresh air and inspiration? Catch the beautiful blooming season at its peak by visiting some of Cleveland’s vibrant gardens.
Cleveland Botanical Gardens
Awaken your senses and step into a “larger than life fantasy” at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens’ Big Spring event. Cleveland Cultural Gardens
It’s true when they say America is a melting pot of cultures, and Ohio is the heart of it all! Going into its 100-year anniversary, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens is dedicated to “peace and understanding through each nationality sharing its achievements and contributions to the betterment of society.” Its collection of 29, and growing, unique nationality gardens spreads over 200 acres along MLK Blvd. So, the next time you pass along the road or happen to be near Cleveland Heights, be sure to bring your camera and stay awhile.
Celebrate Earth’s giant beauties at the Holden Arboretum. Arbor Day is coming up at the arboretum – an annual day of observance of the roles of trees in life. There will be a variety of activities including the return of the Great Lakes Timber Show, kids’ crafts and activities, and more. Want to get creative with your home or work station by adding arboretum-inspired pieces? Return to the Holden Arboretum in May for its plant sale, which will include trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, herbs, and garden accessories, provided by select area nurseries and gardens. A portion of each sale supports The Holden Arboretum.
