AAF-Cleveland will produce a number of informative events in our Signature Series and our Professional Development Series.  In addition, several Happy Hours and networking events will take place along with our annual ADDY Awards Show.  Don’t miss all the networking and educational opportunities at these events.

Local Shop Wins Big

Work from Little Jacket has been included in the 57th annual Communication Arts Design Annual.  The winning entry was the 2014-15 Open Doors Academy Annual Report.  This is the eighth time their work has been featured since 2006.  Congratulations Little Jacket.  

Advertising Creates Sales & Jobs in Ohio

Advertising is a powerful engine that helps drive the economy of Ohio. Advertising expenditures account for $200.6 billion of economic output or sales in Ohio – that is 15.7% of the $1.3 trillion in total economic output in the State. Sales of products and services that are driven by advertising help support 667,504 jobs, representing 12.4% of the 5.4 million jobs in Ohio.

Local Shops Win National ADDY Awards

Two local creative services organizations have won a national ADDY award.  Congratulations to FACTION Pictures for their “Universal Field” video done for FACTION Pictures and to Doner for their “Take A Second Look” Campaign done for Bellefaire JCB.  Both will learn of gold or silver at the national ADDY award show at the AAF National Conference in June.

Cleveland Shops Win 14 District ADDYS

The AAF District 5 ADDY Competition was held this past weekend and 8 local-area organizations took home 14 ADDY Awards.

Marcus Thomas LLC won Gold for the Swagelok Corporate Profile Brochure done for Swagelok and for the Troy-Bilt Instagram Ad – Boots done for MTD Products.  

AAF-Cleveland Publishes New Membership Guide

AAF_Cl_Memb_Guide_2015-16_v4-page-001AAF-Cleveland has published a new membership guide to help those members, new and old, navigate the club.  It’s an opportunity for members to further engage with the club.  Executive Director Dan Leibundgut said “this is a great tool provided by national to help those interested in joining or who have already joined to get a feel for our club.” The publication has been modified to reflect our local club.
