YMCA of Greater Cleveland has an immediate need for a temporary, part-time (10-15 hours per week) Graphic/Multimedia Design assistant. This person will be responsible for supporting our marketing team in the visual content creation (print and digital), and maintaining brand standards for the association. Other responsibilities include assisting with the creation of digital and print ads, large print posters, interior signage, social media graphics, website graphics, posters/flyers for all Y departments and more. A focus of the content created will be impact/story driven, helping our community reach their health and wellness goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize design for a variety of content materials, from initial idea to completed piece
- Produce both print designs and collateral materials, as well as multimedia graphics, utilizing stock or original photography and appropriate image manipulation techniques.
- Work closely with the digital marketing specialist deliver quality, brand-compliant visual and written content
- Maintain an organized filing system for source files that coordinates with the team's project management system
- Ensure correct, timely, affordable production of content by personally managing the production process from identification of specifications and recommendations, to sourcing of pricing and vendor options, and coordination of production and procurement
- Closely partner with corporate functions to ensure that the corporate brand is accurately and efficiently represented
- Capture, edit and produce video and audio for various projects using basic capturing, lighting, and production tools.

Qualifications:
- Hold or be working towards earning a Bachelor's degree in visual communications, graphic design, multimedia design, or similar area of focus.
- Strong understanding of web CMS; interactive design principles, usability, branding, and web architecture
- Ability to juggle and meet multiple deadlines, prioritizing projects, ability to self-direct and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
