REI has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries including B2B, local non-profits and associations, retailers and attractions.

The current Ripple Effect Interactive products include: website design & development, mobile application & development, SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising, content creation, email marketing, social media marketing & integration and managed hosting.


The Director of Digital Strategy will take the lead in helping our clients achieve their organization’s digital objectives. The Director of Digital Strategy will conduct a full discovery of the client needs, competitive situation and business objectives. From there, the Director of Digital Strategy works closely with our account, design and development team to craft each client’s unique digital strategy. This strategy guides the scope, budget and timing of actionable projects. The Director of Digital Strategy is a senior position at REI leadership team. Responsibilities include:
• Conduct initial research and write prospect proposals
• Review and retool programmatic advertising strategies
• Participate in formal client presentations
• Plan clear objectives and benchmarks for site build projects
• Create site maps and wireframes based on User Experience/User Interface(UX/UI) trends and best practice
• Develop creative briefs and communicate strategic objectives to internal team members to ensure projects are completed in alignment with strategy, scope, client objectives and timeframe
• Evaluate and recommend third party vendors or freelancers when needed
• Minimum of 10 years digital advertising and site build experience
• BS/BA degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field
• Mastery of basic marketing principles, such as target segmentation, category, value proposition, positioning, and brand strategy
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
• Experience producing sitemaps and wireframes
• Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Proficiency with SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social platforms
• Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging digital trends
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Media and Technical Delivery Specialists
• This candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
