Marcus Thomas is seeking an assistant account executive with a broad understanding of all facets of advertising to join our account service community of practice. The perfect candidate for this role is a true go-getter, a driven and detail-oriented communicator who is passionate about the field of marketing and digital communications. In this role, you will work with an integrated team, bringing solutions to life for one of our healthcare clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or a related business discipline

Experience: One to two years of account service, project management or business-to-consumer experience

Responsibilities

Assist with and execute focused, cost-effective, results-oriented advertising and marketing communications programs.
Own and manage appropriately assigned client projects from project kickoff through completion.
Respond to questions/issues quickly, honestly and completely.
Assist with client campaigns and initiatives – including digital, social and traditional (print, broadcast TV, outdoor, etc.) executions.
Become an expert in our client’s business and develop solid knowledge of their brand, product and audience.
Get the job done – work cooperatively and respectfully with a variety of disciplines, including public relations, creative, planning, digital, production and media, while following internal processes and timelines.
Requirements

One to two years of successful experience in an advertising, marketing communications or digital agency (preferably, account management), or corporate marketing department.
A bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business or other related field.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Must possess experience managing multiple projects with great attention to organization, detail and quality.
The confidence, integrity and professionalism necessary to represent the agency to its client(s).
An articulate, friendly, “whatever-it-takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic. (A good sense of humor helps, too.)
