Marcus Thomas is seeking an assistant account executive with a broad understanding of all facets of advertising to join our account services community of practice.The perfect candidate for this role is a master project manager and communicator who absolutely loves learning about the continually evolving field of marketing and digital communications. In this role, you will help bring solutions to life for our H&G client. We know the impossible is possible and we’re seeking candidates who know that too.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or a related business discipline

Experience: One to two years of account service and business-to-consumer experience

Responsibilities

Assist with and execute focused, cost-effective, results-oriented advertising and marketing communications programs.
Manage and report on the project details for assigned clients. Specifically, produce weekly status reports, manage weekly internal team meetings, participate in weekly client and multiple-agency calls, and produce meeting reports.
Respond to questions/issues quickly, honestly and completely.
Assist with digital projects (web, apps, search), nontraditional marketing communication tactics and a variety of social media activities that support overall campaign objectives.
Become an expert in our clients’ businesses and develop solid knowledge of their brands, products and audiences.
Get the job done – work cooperatively and respectfully with a variety of disciplines, including public relations, creative, planning, digital, production and media, while following internal processes and timelines.
Requirements

One to two years of successful experience in an advertising, marketing communications, digital agency (preferably, account management) or corporate marketing department.
One to two years of experience with digital and nontraditional forms of marketing, including social media.
A bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business or other related field.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
Must possess experience managing multiple projects with painstaking attention to organization, detail and quality.
Ability to build strong relationships with agency team members.
The confidence, integrity and professionalism necessary to represent the agency to its client(s).
An articulate, friendly, “whatever-it-takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic. (A good sense of humor helps too.)
An absolute passion to produce great advertising and marketing solutions for our clients.
