Mace Security International, Inc. is looking for a driven and talented Social Media Specialist to administer our social media accounts, manage our email marketing and blog content. You will be responsible for creating a marketing content calendar that our social media, email marketing and blogs will follow. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, creating email blasts and responding to followers in accordance with our social media police and Brand standards. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a Social Media Specialist, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views properly, clearly and professionally.


• Build and execute a marketing content calendar of which our social media, email marketing and blog content would follow
• Build and execute marketing content calendar through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions


• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, self starter, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Must work well in a team environment and have good communication skills
• Fluency in English
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
