The Programmatic Media Manager will act as the agency’s programmatic media representative to our clients. This person will collaborate with account service and other key departments to get the job done!

Additionally, this person will be responsible for all programmatic campaign strategies, buying, reporting, analysis and optimization. This person will be looked to for ensuring the quality of the agency’s programmatic media work, including meeting ROI goals and making sure the media group consistently looks for new opportunities and produces quality work.

The ideal candidate for this position is a data-driven marketer with experience in ad technology, real-time bidding, programmatic media buying and optimization of campaign performance.

Works with the media and other client account teams to develop and present plans for client approval
Owns the day-to-day programmatic media campaign logistics through the entire planning cycle across various clients
Responsible for all financial areas of programmatic media, including but not limited to, self-service media performance, managed service cost negotiation and ensuring estimating/media payments are made in a timely manner within budget
Keeps abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances in digital, and identifies new opportunities
Derives meaningful insights from data, including optimization recommendations
Positions oneself to be respected by the client and agency as a subject matter expert
Stays in-tune with the client’s business and customers, so that marketing and advertising problems and opportunities may be anticipated
Builds solid relationships with internal teams to ensure work is produced on time
Analyzes data, assesses advertising key performance indicators and identifies media platforms best suited to reach our target audiences
Develops a “test-measure-learn” approach and produces detailed reporting that leads to data-driven decisions that produce business results

Minimum 3+ years of client-facing digital marketing and/or programmatic marketing experience. In lieu of a 4-year college degree, additional experience can be substituted.
Must display initiative within work and accountability for quality output
Excellent writing and strong/persuasive presentation skills
Strong analytical skills/strategic-thinking skills
Strong familiarity with DSPs and DMPs is a MUST
Experience monitoring programmatic trends daily, as well as hands-on experience planning and buying within a programmatic platform
Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, analyze data to extract insights from extremely large data-sets, and apply rigor around employing a “test-and-learn” approach
Strong knowledge of ad-technology concepts and platforms (DSPs, Google/DoubleClick, Lotame, Salesforce, Tealium, knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, etc.)
