Advertising and marketing is all about making your client’s products and services stand out. It’s about building a brand--and ultimately making the sale. Succeeding in the advertising and marketing field is the same except you’re the product. You’ve got to market yourself so you stand out, whether you’re an aspiring creative, an account/marketing pro, media guru, or anything in between.

That’s where the AAF-Cleveland comes in with its various educational programs and outreach.

Each year, AAF-Cleveland offers continuing education programs for all aspects in the world of integrated marketing communications; Communications Career Day, a December program targeting students in advertising and related professions; and Communications Scholarships to deserving Ohio residents majoring in Advertising or other aspects of business communications.

The AAF-Cleveland Education Foundation raises funds for merit and need-based academic scholarships given to Ohio college students majoring in advertising, marketing and communications. Our Education Foundation awards more scholarships with a higher total dollar amount ($15,000 in 2008/2009 and $206,000 over the past eighteen years) than any other Advertising Federation in the United States.
