Meet Our Board – 1st VP, Rick Turner

Turner Headshot Sept 2017 1Rick, a 20-year veteran of the Hospitality, Culinary and Special Events industries, is an Account Executive for multi-award-winning Extraordinary Events, an experiential meeting and event agency firm headquartered in Los Angeles.

Rick is very involved with a number of civic and industry associations, including the International Live Events Association, and was instrumental in developing chapters in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh Markets.

BOYS TOWN: TRADE LIFE DOCUMENTARY IS AWARDED A TELLY

Purple_Films_logoPurple Films and Lincoln Electric collaborated to produce a documentary that shares the impact learning a trade can have in someone’s life. This film follows a class of at-risk teens on their journey through the Trade Life welding program at Boys Town, NE.

The internet commercial about racial bias created for Procter & Gamble earned BBDO New York Best of Show in the American Advertising Awards national competition. In addition to a Gold ADDY Award and Best of Show in Internet commercials, the spot earned a Gold ADDY Award for copywriting.
