AAFCLE Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted

The AAF-Cleveland Student Connection is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 Scholarship Program.  Since its inception, our scholarship program has given away almost $400,000 in scholarship dollars to deserving students.  The application process is open to all juniors and seniors who are carrying a 3.0 GPA or better, attending an Ohio college or university (Community Colleges as well) and are studying a MarCom discipline.

studentconnectionlogoThe AAF-Cleveland Student Connection is now accepting applications for its scholarship program through February 8, 2019.  The Student Connection has given away over $370,000 in scholarship dollars to deserving MarCom students.  In order to apply you must:

Be attending an Ohio college or university, either 2 or 4 year school
Be majoring in a MarCom discipline
Be graduating in 2019 or 2020
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Digital entries can be uploaded and will not require a physical entry

Apps, Games & Virtual Reality
Apps and Virtual Reality entries will be judged using a digital (video) summary of 3 minutes or less, which must be digitally uploaded by the entrant (not a URL).

AAF-Cleveland Welcomes New Corporate Member

AAF-Cleveland would like to welcome Halo Media Works as a new corporate member.  Halo Media Works is a production studio focused on providing high quality CG Animation and Game Cinematic services.  You can learn more about them and see work examples here.

Garage Creative Studios Wins Emmy’s

GARAGE_LogoGarage Creative Studios was honored recently with two Emmy Nominations and three Telly Awards for their work on the feature historical documentary “Healing a Community”. Garage was selected as the winner of the inaugural Gold Telly award for Craft-Writing for Television over networks like CBS and HBO as well as Bronze awards for Craft-Editing for Television and Feature Length Documentary.

AAFCLE Wins National Club Of The Year

AAF-Cleveland has been named AAF Division II Club of the Year in the annual Club Achievement Competition.

One of the AAF’s major objectives is to recognize excellence and encourage high standards among industry professionals. The Club Achievement Competition is designed to recognize outstanding accomplishments of its affiliated advertising clubs and to showcase the programs and projects that these clubs undertake each year in eight separate categories.
