Marcus Thomas Unveils Plans For New Main Office Building
Marcus Thomas LLC unveiled plans for a new main office building designed to enhance the agency’s open, collaborative and interdisciplinary culture. Less than a half mile from the agency’s current location on Emery Road in Warrensville Heights, the new location is also in Warrensville Heights at 4781 Richmond Road. It is on the same campus as Lifebanc in the new development “Hemingway at Richmond.” Marcus Thomas’ building will face I-422 and will be visible from that highway. The $5.2 million construction project is underway, and the agency plans to move in during the first quarter of 2012. Marcus Thomas will lease the building from Geis Companies, an architectural, development and construction company that has been the agency’s main partner in the project. The building’s interior is being designed by Geis Companies in collaboration with Marcus Thomas’ own creative team. The new building will create 42,000 square feet of office space and accommodate more than 200 people. The agency’s current location is 26,000 square feet and does not quite accommodate the agency’s 140 people, some of whom are now working out of a separate, but nearby, office space.
