AAFCLE Awards Program Recap

Over 100 attendees enjoyed a beautiful evening at FWD Day + Nightclub and witnessed 13 well-deserving creative professionals receive awards from AAF-Cleveland.

Our evening began with a tribute to Tom Moore.  Tom spent close to 30 years serving AAF-Cleveland including as a past president and as a District 5 governor.  Tom was also the driving force behind Cleveland hosting the AAF National Conference  in 2001.  AAF-Cleveland couldn’t let the evening pass without paying tribute for his contributions to the club.

Each year AAF-Cleveland awards board members who have made outstanding contributions to the club.  This year is no exception as we awarded TJ Salopek, Interactive Marketing Lead, Goodyear with our Director of the Year Award, Garage Creative Studios with our Vendor of the Year Award, Nina Rossi, Production Manager, Goldfarb Weber Creative Media and Mike Hudock, President, Hudock Creative with our Rising Star Award.

Our 4 Under 40 Class of 2019 was one of the strongest ever.  Celebrating young professionals, our 4 Under 40 winners excelled in giving back to their communities, involvement in education, going above and beyond at their companies and commitment to the club.  Our winners included:

Diana Prodan, Content Manager, Knox Marketing

Jeff Culliton, Sr. Director, Digital Strategy, Adcom AAF_2911

Chris Jungjohann, Managing Partner & COO, Recess Creative

Christian Woltman, Design Director, Little Jacket

The evening continued with the awarding of our annual Industry Impact Award.  This award is given to an outstanding marketer who is changing the way we think and create.  This year we were proud to give this prestigious award to Colette Jones, VP of Marketing & Communications at Destination Cleveland.
Induction in to the AAF-Cleveland Advertising Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed on a professional in our industry.  It is the culmination of all the great work produced throughout one’s career.  This year we were honored to induct three deserving individuals who have helped move our industry forward.
