Name Greg Wereb
Day job Associate VP, Business Insights, Fahlgren Mortine
What do you create after your 5 To 9 job?
I guess you can say I RE-create more than I create…I started a local CLE-area cover band called Billy Likes Soda back in 2013.
How did you discover your 5 to 9 passion? What inspired you?
Music has been my biggest passion since I was a little kid; I can remember when I was about five years old dressing up in full KISS makeup and costume – at least what I THOUGHT was full at the time! – and jumping on the family bumper pool table (Millennials, look it up) and lip-synching along with my brother’s albums. Then I added a passion for drums. I’d play along with songs on a collection of boxes and lampshades set up like a kit, until I borrowed a small kit from a relative when I was 12. And here I am 32 years later and I still haven’t given that kit back!
In my adult life, I’m on kit #4 and I’ve been playing in original or cover bands in the CLE area since 1997. I find it rewarding and enjoyable to play music, and it’s even more fun when others get joy out of it too.
How has membership/participation in AAF-Cleveland inspired you or your work?
It’s allowed me to meet new people and learn trends in the industry which I then incorporate into my work.
How can we learn more about you and/or your work
